Yes. We use precise astronomical data to show how the moon actually appeared to the naked eye on your chosen date. Small differences (usually 1–3% illumination) can occur due to time zones or data sources, but we always prioritize what would have been visible in real life. Your jewelry reflects Moonglow’s artistic and meaningful interpretation of that exact moment.

With very low illumination (1–3%), a thin crescent is often invisible to the human eye and would be too small to glow. We intentionally design the charm so the moon phase can still shine beautifully in the dark — that’s the heart of what makes Moonglow special.

Your piece is hand-finished with care using high-quality metals, genuine gemstones, and Swarovski crystals. Like any cherished jewelry, it may develop a natural patina over the years. All Moonglow pieces are lead- and nickel-free. If you have sensitivities to other metals, simply reply to [email protected] with the styles you like and the metals you avoid. We’re happy to help you find the perfect match.

Gently wipe your piece with a soft, lint-free cloth after each wear. For deeper cleaning, use warm water and a mild, fragrance-free soap. Avoid harsh chemicals, ultrasonic cleaners, or jewelry dips. Always remove your Moonglow before swimming in pools, hot tubs, or the ocean when possible, and pat it dry if it gets wet. Store it in its original pouch or a soft jewelry box to keep the glow bright and the metal protected.

The glow lasts several hours after being exposed to light. The more natural or bright light it absorbs during the day, the stronger and longer the glow will be at night. Simply place it near a window or lamp for a few hours to “recharge.”

Rings are available in standard U.S. sizes 5–9. Some rings may be adjustable. Bracelets come in adjustable or fixed lengths — most are 6.5–7.5 inches and can be gently resized by a local jeweler if needed. Exact sizing is shown on each product page.

Yes! Many styles can be engraved on the back or inside with a name, date, or short message. Engraving options and character limits appear during checkout. Engraved or personalized items are final sale unless defective.
