What does my phase code mean?
It is a reference identifier for the Moonglow lunar image that most closely matches your selected date. The code does not carry your selection into a product page; you will enter the date again when personalizing your piece.
Can I choose any date?
Yes. Choose a birthday, anniversary, memorial, milestone, or any date that carries meaning for you.
Can I combine more than one moon?
Yes. Use the calculator to explore each meaningful date. When choosing a family bracelet or necklace, enter those dates again on the product page to personalize the piece with multiple moons.
Why is the New Moon blue?
A real New Moon is not visible from Earth because its illuminated side faces away from us. Rather than use a blacked-out pendant, Moonglow represents the phase with a distinctive blue tint. It is a symbolic design treatment, not the astronomical Blue Moon.
Will this match Moonglow’s current calculator?
Yes. This experience uses the same official date-to-code reference as Moonglow’s current calculator for dates from January 1, 1919 through January 1, 2031.
